Dayton Madison was born and raised in northwest Colorado and grew up hunting and fishing with his dad, a Colorado Game Warden. He started guiding for Nine Mile Ranch/RTS Hunting in 2008 while finishing his Wildlife Biology degree at the University of Wyoming. Dayton also has guiding experience in Wyoming, Africa and, most recently, Alaska, but still loves hunting the same elk and deer that are the roots of his hunting lifestyle.

He says his favorite thing about guiding is being part of a great hunting experience with a client, whether it’s a first-time elk hunt with a new hunter or just another big buck with a long-time friend.
